-Kuo Yen Fu
There's an endless discussion hidden in Yen-Fu KUO's artworks. It’s quite important and interesting to conscious ourselves rather than criticize. Prospecting this complicated world in a different view and that would be easier to free ourselves. KUO tries to lead us to seek our own suitcase which metaphorizes a deep desire inside and a real reality that couldn’t be hidden. Through a routine action to find out the feeling of been secured and even more that could expose us the peace in our mind.

-Chen Zheng Long
In the old time, bamboos are planted everywhere in Taiwan. The weather is so comfortable and Spring-like, which is perfect for the bamboos to grow. The artist’s childhood memory is enriched by the surrounding bamboo forest. Thus, he particularly feels for the special plants. The appearances of bamboo creates poetic charts overflowing from its moving and stillness in the eyes. The “Between Bamboo Shadows” serial works not only depicts outside images, but brings out the essence of bamboo with the artist’s insight.
Oriental art is usually deeply philosophical. Different ideas are implied between black and white, color and shadows, moves and stillness, and minimalism and abstractness. In the process of creation, everything is unknown, and everything is ever-changing. An artist must learn from the unknown and begin with the ever-changingness and find new representations and expressions at the moment between breaking and establishing.

-Kuo Ya Chieh
This work is about the tears, which not just a phenomenon that directly reflects our emotion but a process of being maturely and growing, a milestone to record every moment of our life.
