現今網路科技的發達，促使時尚、流行的更加的興盛，透過媒體廣告和影像的無遠弗屆，更是深刻地影響著我們的生活。而雜誌猶如聖經般，針對雜誌中每一季的流行做為遵循的指標，更以雜誌中的模特兒們當成自我幻想的對象，以她們做為自我模仿的目標，使得許多人盲目地追隨與跟從。而時尚雜誌、廣告的魅力也讓我充滿好奇心與深深吸引著我，因此以雜誌、廣告的形式作為發想，投入自我的感受和經驗，想像自己是雜誌中完美的形象，藉由工筆水墨創作呈現出來，畫面中繼承傳統水墨的觀念與技法，加入高彩度的色彩、裝飾性、設計感的元素，營造具時尚、華麗感，並且符合當今時代的視覺經驗。
